Course Details

Learn how to conduct a drug evaluation. You'll better understand how drugs affect the human body and know how to properly administer tests to determine drug impairment.

Drugs affect they eyes in a way that it is very easy to pick up drug impairment. Opiates, like fentanyl, will constrict pupils while stimulants, like methamphetamine, will dilate them.

At the end of the day, you'll start learning about the 7 drug categories. On this day we start with Inhalants and Hallucinogens like LSD, MDMA and more.

Advanced Classes on Street Drugs

For day two, you’ll do a deep dive into 5 of the drug categories. You’ll get advanced training in methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, THC concentrates, and we will learn more about drug manufacturing.

  • CNS Stimulants (meth, coke, Adderall, etc.)
  • Opiates (fentanyl, heroin, pharmaceuticals, etc)
  • Cannabis (marijuana, edibles, concentrates, BHO, etc.)
  • Alcohol
  • CNS Depressants (GHB, pharmaceuticals, drug facilitated rape, etc.)
  • Dissociative Anesthetics (PCP, TCP, Ketamine, etc.)

Drug Combinations

In day 3, you'll do a deep dive into drug combinations (as an example, when people take fentanyl and methamphetamine together) and what you might expect when doing a drug evaluation.

Toxicology

You'll do a deep dive into toxicology. You'll find out which toxicological sample to take and how to interpret toxicology test results.

Report Writing

You'll end out the day with learning how to write reports on drug impairment, including DUI drug reports.
